2Exalt is a faith community rooted in curiosity. We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit online church based in Charlotte, North Carolina, built around a simple but radical premise: that honest questions are not the enemy of faith — they are the beginning of it.
We draw on philosophy, history, anthropology, and the lived experience of real people to make spiritual exploration practical, tangible, and radically accessible. We don't ask people to arrive with answers already formed. We ask only that they arrive willing to explore.
2Exalt gathers both in person in Charlotte and online — through live events, video content, and facilitated Socratic dialogue that takes the big questions seriously without pretending to have all the answers.
We believe the next generation of spiritually curious people is not looking for a louder church. They are looking for a more honest one. 2Exalt exists to be that -- a community where curiosity is the price of admission and no question is too dangerous to ask out loud.
We envision a growing network of people (in Charlotte and beyond) who find in 2Exalt a place to belong that doesn't require them to check their intellect at the door.
Most faith communities ask you to arrive with belief and build from there. 2Exalt asks something different: bring your questions, your doubts, your frustrations with the faith you were handed — and let's see where honest conversation takes us.
We are not a debate club. We are not a lecture series. We are a community; one that happens to take ideas seriously.
Our approach is Socratic. Our theology is Baptist. Our community is everyone.
We pull from the full breadth of human knowledge (philosophy, history, science, anthropology, literature) because we believe truth is not afraid of examination. And neither are we.
2Exalt is in its founding season. We are building our programming, growing our community, and laying the foundation for what we believe will become one of the most distinctive faith communities in the country.
Our flagship program, The Circle, launches Fall 2026 — a Socratic dialogue series that puts five honest voices around one question and lets the conversation go where it needs to go.
This is the beginning. We'd love for you to be part of it.
